Free write weekend

      My weekend was boring. I worked Friday and Saturday night those were long nights. Sunday I went riding I ended up hurting my ankle so I left the track went home, ate dinner, showered, and then went to bed.

Future

        How will I succeed in life? Get a job I like and just live life every day like its my last. Why plans or goals. Graduate from college, get a job in the field of study, get a wife, have a boy, teach him how to work on bikes, then die. Plan if it doesn't work out. Sit in the basement of my house with the lights off and contemplate life.

Story 10

             Completion anxiety is the tendency to didn't fully complete your objective. It's like hiring someone to do your flooring and leaves a small amount of trash or tiles undone. But if you check it off your list and do it when ever possible the stress will be gone.   I learned that it takes a little more effort to make something complete and nice. I will do my best in all assignments or tasks put I front of me.

     There are more blacks in jail than were enslaved. Tim wise went to an African American school for preschool. All of his early friends were black, and noticed how differently they were being treated. Adolf arge was the first black man beaten to death in police custody. David duke running for political senate, and is a neo nazi, and part of the ku klux klan. Tim has been raising awareness to race, and racism for over 20 years.
      This video is about race, and racism and raising awareness to people who don't understand it. The video to me is a great way to make people more aware of race segregation and how races are treated differently than whites.

Blog- setting of the book.

   The setting is the early medieval ages. Plot- a young prince and a mariner’s daughter survive shipwreck, the names of the survivors are Edmund and Elspeth, and they are cast ashore together. Elspeth opens an old trunk that washes up onto the shore, she is unwillingly bonded to an invisible gauntlet that flares into sight at need, with a bright sword due to touching it. Conflict so far is the Elspeth wants to find her father and see if he is still alive. Elspeth, and Edmund are the protagonists Edmund is a big guy, and a prince, while Elspeth is a mariners daughter, and willing to do dangerous things. 

Weekend

  Friday night I worked till 10 came home, and watched tv. Saturday I helped do lawn work, then worked from 4 to close, and that was crap. Steven Laws walked out mid shift and left a lot of dishes, we didn't get out of work till 11:30. Sunday I was making knifes with rail road spikes,went riding for about 2 hours, then went to work from 4 to 10.

Food continued

          Cows eat grass because they are herbivores, and feeding corn is expensive. A cow living on a grass land it can eat and fertilize the land other than with corn. The workers in the slaughter house are treated as the animals they kill. And dealing with all the intestines and other things from the animals the workers became very ill. Meat packing companies became huge due to the needs of the fast food industries.
         It's crazy to think how companies can hide such big things like immigration for workers, the treatment of the workers, and how the animals are treated.

Food

      The average super market has at least 47,000 products. The industry doesn't want people to know the truth of production of meats, because people wouldn't want to eat it. The guy wanted to lift the vale on the food industry and production of food to show how the food is actually made. McDonalds is the largest purchaser of beef, potatoes, etc. Tyson is the biggest meat packing factory in the world, and genetically change the chickens for more white meat.

Favorite food

         Chicken fettuccine Alfredo. The scent of the Alfredo sauce and chicken is just intoxicating in a way. When I'm eating it I feel as if I'm in heaven just tasting all the flavors in one bite is just amazing.  I like it because it's a simple dish boil water, add noodles, then grill the chicken, cut it into bite sized chunks, add into the strained noodles in a bowl, the add the sauce. It just an amazing dish with a lot of flavor!

#15 good-bye normal life

I related to the kid having problems to speak out loud around new people. I've gone to concerts and not talk to a single person due to either shyness or just afraid of being judged. And when I meet band members it's hard for me to try and talk to them without stuttering or talking quietly. That the person had problems talking to others, but when you just step up and talk things might change. I can open up more to my parents and surround my self with positivity and become able to talk to people at concerts and other places.

Spring break free write

    Well I worked everyday except Monday last week. It was pretty much the worst spring break I've ever had. I wish I could've hit the race track and rode all day. But in the end the money is good for gas for my car, saving up for college, and car insurance. Overall it was a crappy spring break and wish it would have been way better.

         Starting this Thursday the Columbia City Haunted Jail will be open for 3 days. I hope I get to scare someone so badly the drop to the ground crying like a little baby. If we were running the chainsaw section I would have them running so fast they could break a track record. I think my favorite part of working the jail is the people I work with they are all so nice and laid back to me they are a second family. But I'm sad because I won't be able to work with them during the next season of haunting in October due to college.

Story #11

                    This story is about how to deal with criticism and how to take it a little less personally. A lot of people take criticism to heart thinking they have to change everything to make it not happen again. If you take the criticism and apply it to what is already happening and it will fix it, also it shows that the person who criticizes you is very critical. In the end we all are critical about things either it being an opinion of art, or things others do around you. I can use the information to better myself  like on my art work if I get some criticism on it I can change it up and it will turn out better, but just ignore the negative criticism take in the positive criticism.

Story #10

             If you desire a happy life create don't a state of mind that if people push your buttons you won't care. If you do this is how you become stressed all your life, but if you react with acceptance they will stop. In the end your life can change for the better by not getting mad easily, and people will notice that your accepting it the people will stop. Also you will change you demeanor towards others will change dramatically for the better. I on the other hand am half and half it ultimately depends on the person pushing my buttons sometimes I'll care other times I won't.

      This speech is about Steve jobs giving a commencement speech at Stanford and telling 3 stories of his life. How he went from nothing to something, and how life can constantly change for everyone.  Also that if you just settle you'll go nowhere if you continue looking better opportunities come along. He also had been diagnosed with cancer and was told to go home and pretty much say good byes, but the cancer was removed through surgery, and that death is the single best invention of life. In my opinion this speech was amazing it he brought up many great things but the best part was him saying," Death is the single best invention of life."

Free write about project

         Overall this project has been cool I enjoy the guys I work with in my group. But in the end when one person is gone pretty much everyday in your group it becomes frustrating. The book is coming along very nicely just needs all more work to be complete. But more time between each checkpoint would be great.

Free write

      This is going to be a long action packed weekend into Monday. Friday I'm leaving to Indianapolis going to the hotel, and walking around the city. Saturday from noon to about 11:30 I will be in Lucas oil stadium watching supercross. Sunday I will be leaving Indianapolis and relax at home eat food, and watch tv. On Monday I will be going to school for about 3 periods, leaving, picking up two of my friends, go back to Indianapolis for an amazing concert, then after take them home, and go home and sleep.

Story #8

         I've experienced the practice of being unhappy with many things. Like playing guitar I think that I could do so much better but others say it sounds great and I continue thinking this can be better. Also with my art that I do everyone says it looks amazing I continue to see the flaws in the art that I do. But in the end I need to get out of the funk and look into the brighter things about what I do. I need to see the better side of my art work and the greater sound of my guitar, if people learn to not think negative about small things the world would be a better place.

Story #7

        The 90/10 trap is that people focus on the worst part of the day which is the 10% of a persons day and the 90% is the rest of it. The 10% is the usually brought up topic in discussion when asked how was your day. If you focus on what you like you can change that 90/10 to a 100% good day. How I will use this in my life is by focusing on the positive and asking brighter questions about what they did during they're day. If done so your days should be better, conversations with people will be better, and life should go by easier.

Freewrite

     After today sixteen day till I go to Indianapolis to see an amazing concert. The bands that are playing a Chelsea Grin, Carnifex, Sworn In, Black Tongue, and The Family Ruin. I've wanted to Chelsea Grin, and Carnifex for a long time now! I also splurged a little bit and bought VIP tickets so I get a meet and greet with the bands and a photo op with Chelsea Grin.

Story 6

          If  you overthink things get cloudy and can make things harder to do. Just calm down wait a couple minutes and think everything should then be clear. I could've defiantly could have used this information for the last project. I over thought so many things on the project and I know I could've done better if I would just taken a little more time.

Children's book

       The book could appeal to kids in many ways. The mouse is a friend to a boy, and comical because he is constantly doing many things. The book is also repetitive of the mouse constantly doing the one thing after another. But repetitive lines and the funny mouse is what draws the attention to the little attention. Plus with the boy helping the mouse with everything is just funny.

1. I'm grateful for everything I have. I'm grateful for my parents supporting me in everything I do, and everything they've done for me. And sometimes I take that for granted I then sit and think about what I did then apologize for what I've taken for granted

Video #1

         Main ideas- relationships between two different animals that see like they wouldn't get along at all for example the cheetah and the dog that play and run with each other.


         What I learned- that even though things seem like they won't work together they can build a bond and become something unimagined


         What can I use the most- that even if I look completely different than others I can get along with  most people

 
          My opinion of the video-  it was a very intriguing video with an unexpected plot of showing animals that can get along and coexist without problems.

Story #4

           I constantly reflect on many problems I've started or got involved into. I reflect on the money I owe my parents for buying my insurance. Also the car I destroyed and it was my parents car, so one day I will pay them the money back and get them a new car to replace the one I destroyed. In my opinion this story is true about reflection, because it will constantly happen to everyone about small things. In the end don't let the small things you do wrong because they can be fixed the big things take more time to fix such as buying your parents a new car or giving them money back for the insurance they helped you buy.
           With the information from the story, I will constantly be using reflection a lot. I will reflect one the money I owe to my parents for insurance and the guy I bought the car from. Also I cause problems and don't realize what I did until after it happened, I then constantly think about how I messed up. Then once I figure out what I did wrong I can then apologize for what I had done and stop thinking about it.

Story #3

        Well listening is a huge part of how you live life. It helps you when someone is calling for you when they need your help. Also it's a big part of maintaining relationships with friends and girlfriends/ boyfriends. Also can be taken for granted people in this world aren't blessed with hearing so think about it. Multi tasking also is a big thing of hearing you are taking notes while your teacher is reading them aloud so that way you know what's being covered.
        I used multitasking while the teacher was explaining the story for the blog while listening to music. But sometimes I tune everything else out and just keep the music flowing to boost my creativity. Music for me is a big help in life and hearing makes that possible for me to be creative and boost my self esteem.

Story 2

                   How can I use this story in my life today? Treat everyone with respect even if they are mean or disrespectful to you. Maybe if done you can make them change to be a kind and caring person. Kindness in the world is nil because most people are thinking about their own well being. Sometimes in life you have to give a little to get a little, I think of the golden rule treat others how you want to be treated.
                  The thing I can mostly relate to in the passage was kindness. People see me as a big scary guy who listens to the devils music. Those people don't take the time to get to know me, I am a very kind and laid back person to be around. If you need help with certain things I can try my hardest to help you in any way I can. But in the end it's all about how you treat the people around you to get the respect and kindness you want.

Story

            I can completely relate to this story in many ways. My mother and I have a small argument, and it turns into a fight over who's right or wrong. But in the end we say sorry for what happened even though we are still mad at each other. Usually in the future it gets brought up and the fight becomes worse and turns into yelling, and yet again we say sorry even though we are still very bitter at each other. Other times we argue and look it up to see who is right and wrong sometimes we are both wrong.
           Now my father and I usually never fight it's very rare. He usually sits down and talks with me so that way we don't kill each other. Other times my dad just instantly get mad and starts yelling which is pretty scary. That's when I accept what's going and and shut my mouth because I'm to scared to say anything. But usually we are the calmest two in the house except for when mom and I or my father and I get into a disagreement.

My Weekend

          What I did during my weekend which is very boring. Friday I went to school in the morning had pizza and juice for lunch. Then after school I went to work five to nine I didn't eat dinner that night. Saturday I woke up at 9:30 to my moms friend talking way to loud I was all grumpy because of that. Saturday afternoon my father and I were home alone so we decided to go to Fort Wayne for a father son day.
           We went to Arby's for some food I order a beef and cheddar sandwich with curly fries and a large coke. After we ate we went to see Taken 3 the movie was around two hours long it was just like the other two movies. We then went home, picked up my mother, and went back to Fort Wayne to eat at Granite City for dinner. Sunday I woke up, watched tv till about 3:40, left my house, and worked till 10:30. That is my weekend in a complete nutshell I had a pretty simple and quite boring weekend to most people.

My opinion of school uniforms.

              So I think school uniforms bring a form of control of the freedoms of expression. The uniforms are usually solid colors the girls wear a black skirt with a white polo shirt, and the men wear black pants with a white polo shirt. The shirts must be tucked in to the waist band of the pants or skirt, and the buttons of the polo must be buttoned and if required a tie must be worn by the men.

             I personally couldn't wear the uniforms, because I like to be able to wear band merchandise and show support. Also I like wearing wristbands and if the school has a uniform they cannot be worn at all. But you have those kids that take self expression to far and wear clothing with beer, cursing, and marijuana logos on them causing the problems. I think if kids knew not to wear those clothes to school the administrators wouldn't have a problem with self expression. So what are your thoughts on school uniforms, and self expression in the school?

Band Reviews

           Today I will be giving reviews on a couple bands I like hopefully you would like them to. They are mostly in the genera of metal, but give it a try and don't be judgemental. The bands I will be reviewing are Rings of Satun, Chelsea Grin, Suicide Silence, and Marilyn Manson. I will post links after I publish the because I lost everything the first time I tried getting links. 

           Ring of Saturn is in the genera of alien metal, because the sound of guitars and the heaviness of vocals. Chelsea Grin is a heavy metal/melodic metal band, they use the subtle acoustic guitar then blend it to huge breakdowns and brutal vocals. Suicie Silence genera is metal, the deep guteral vocals with the fast guitars and drums make the band have a signature sound. Marilyn Manson is an alternative rock band, because of the obscurity of the lyrics, and the odd vocalist. I hope these helped you on finding a new band.
